Cher doll collecting is serious business. There have been various doll products over the years. Here is an overview.
Cher Doll Overview
Barbie Collector Series (2007)
We’re back to iconic outfits. Half Breed and Hole Fits below. These are not toys and the outfits do not come off.
The Ringmaster doll was made in a small quantity and therefore sells for $500-plus on eBay.
Barbie Cher (Believe-era)
This Barbie Cher sucked. Didn’t look like her and barely pulls off the dress. Blatant capitalization of “Believe” success.
Mego Dolls (late 1970s)
In the beginning, you had your basic Mego Cher dolls:
Cher in a bag
The cheap Cher doll
The Mackie Collection Dolls
A good doll will still have her plastic bandage around her head post plastic surgery.
The Growing Hair Doll worked with a plastic key that would suck her hair back in after you pulled it out of her head.
Ever wonder were Cher’s hair was circa Mask?
It was in her head.
The main problem for the typical Cherdoll guardian was keeping the hair from dread-locks:
Cher dolls in various stages of decomposition
Doll with a hangover.
The odd couple.
Anorexic Doll
Why a good marriage goes bad dolls
Line-up hooker doll
She looks good when you’re drunk doll
And the impersonators…
Cher as Tina Turner doll
Cher as Rhoda Morgenstern doll
Cher as Chaka Kahn doll
Cher as Diana Ross doll
