This is the most hilarious hair style on a Cher TV solo spot…even she looks pissed off about it.<\/p>\n

The lyrics of this song really make me nuts, even when I was a preteen and particularly disposed to the sappy effects the song conveys:<\/p>\n

If a picture paints a thousand words than why cant I paint you <\/em>
(who says you can\u2019t?)<\/strong>
The words will never show the you I\u2019ve come to know <\/em>
(sounds like a You problem)<\/strong>
If a face could launch a thousand ships than why can\u2019t I launch you <\/em>(No!)<\/strong>…than where am I to go?<\/em>
There\u2019s no one home but you; you're all that\u2019s left me to.
<\/em>(You\u2019re all what\u2019s left me to what? You shouldn\u2019t end on a preposition for all this vagueness: that's all you've <\/em>left me<\/em> to)<\/strong>
And when my love for life is running dry, you\u2019ll come and pour yourself on me
<\/em>(Like in a nagging way?)<\/strong>
If a man could be two places at one time, I\u2019d be with you <\/em> <\/strong>
Tomorrow and today, beside you all the way <\/em>(tell it to the judge, rock star)<\/strong>
If the world should stop revolving spinning slowly down to die <\/em>(WTF!)<\/strong>
I\u2019d spend it all with you and when the end was through<\/em>
Then one by one the stars would all go out <\/em>(this is NOT romantic)<\/strong>
Then you and I would simply fly away. <\/em>(you think so if-boy?)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The song is mercifully only 2 and a half minutes long.<\/p>\n

\"Gotitbad\"<\/a>In this clip of "I Got it Bad and That Aint Good<\/a>" you see a promo cover of the Bittersweet White Light<\/em> album (can I say–this was a particularly poetic title for a Sonny-produced Cher album, or any Cher album for that matter). The clip also contains the I-got-it-bad wig.<\/p>\n

\"Deltadawn\"<\/a>This is a clip I remember seeing in the 1970s, Sonny & Cher singing "Delta Dawn."<\/a> For days I circled the house singing the chorus over and over again. My lucky mom.
