They&#39;re offering a travel atomizer now and <a href=\"https:\/\/scentbeauty.com\/products\/cher-eau-de-couture-collectors-edition\">a collector&#39;s edition<\/a> which looks like the first edition with&#0160; chain-mail innards. Regrettably, the collectors detail page gives no indication as to what makes the collector&#39;s edition special. At that price point, that&#39;s not very motivating. I wish they would diversity into lotions and other products but maybe that&#39;s beyond the scope of this company.<\/p>\n<p>For my friend Christopher\u2019s birthday, I sent him an extra bottle of Uninhibited that I had lying around plus a new bottle of what he calls &quot;Cher Perfume&quot; or CP. I thought he could do some good comparisons and he sure did. These are his thoughts after wearing both scents for three hours.<\/p>\n<p>He said of Uninhibited: it&#39;s \u201cremarkable how assertive only two sprays are&#8230;the fact that it can retain that strength from a bottle 25+ years old\u2026it dominates my personal space.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>CP is \u201cby no means a duplicate of Uninhibited.\u201d Uninhibited is \u201cdecidedly \u2018female\u2019 to me because it is highly floral\u2026not \u2018girly\u2019 smelling\u2026.no sweetness\u2026would classify as a more \u2019dry\u2019 perfume\u2026.somewhat matronly quality (which is very odd because that is not a word one would ever associate with Cher)\u2026.because the composition seems somewhat old-fashioned\/traditional insofar as the main quality is a musky\/powdery note\u2026perfumes that are \u2018younger\u2019 and\/or more contemporary have gotten away from that angle, often emphasizing instead more gourmand profiles <a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/cherscholar.com\/cherblog\/.a\/6a00d8341d6c7753ef0263ec2ac64c200c-popup\" onclick=\"window.open( this.href, &#39;_blank&#39;, &#39;width=640,height=480,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0&#39; ); return false\" style=\"float: right;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Preissue-perfume\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341d6c7753ef0263ec2ac64c200c img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cherscholar.com\/cherblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/6a00d8341d6c7753ef0263ec2ac64c200c-200wi.jpg?w=676&#038;ssl=1\" style=\"width: 200px; margin: 0px 0px 5px 5px;\" title=\"Preissue-perfume\" \/><\/a>(food\/bakery scents) or aquatics (lighter\/saltier\/more metallic)\u2026there\u2019s also a green or vegetal component that I can detect.&quot; He added that he&#39;s not much of a fan of this type of profile.<\/p>\n<p>CP, he says, uses the basic profile of Uninhibited but &quot;updates it in a number of ways\u2026the powdery quality is sufficiently dialed down\u2026tilting the scent more towards a unisex impression\u2026green notes can be dark or dirty but these have a clean, bright quality\u2026the scent is more complex\u2026more multifaceted.&quot; He loved new perfume saying &quot;The CP goes into rotation tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebay.com\/itm\/313157600184\">pre-issue bottle of Uninhibited went on eBay last week<\/a> and sold for $399!
